FAQ
Can my child attend both sessions?
Yes. We will have different programs for the two sessions.
Where will the kids be staying?
Children live in a cabin with their Councillor. Showers and toilets are in the same building. Children sleep, eat and shower in permanent buildings. Cabins are equipped with mosquito nets and fans.
Is this camp only for Christian kids?
This camp is for children of all faiths. Basic teachings from the Bible will be presented during the bible lessons and the night program.
How do I get my children to camp?
You can either drive them to camp or we may have a bus from Toronto to camp for an additional $25 each way. Additional information about the bus to and from camp will follow by e-mail in June/July.
What kind of food will my children be eating at camp?
We try to emphasize healthy eating. We don’t use pre-fabricated frozen food, but make every meal fresh in our kitchen. There are 3 main meals and one snack before bed.
Is there an online form I can use to register or can I pay with my credit card?
Unfortunately we do not accept credit card and only the method described on our registration page is currently available to register a child for camp.
What if my child has food allergies or other medical conditions?
We require that all children attending our camp either have OHIP coverage or private health care coverage. We try to accommodate all types of food allergies, but our camp is not a nut-free environment. When filling out the medical form you would indicate the medical condition of your child and your child's leader and other staff members at camp will be notified upon your child's arrival of the special instructions for your child's health issue.
